Come along and listen to illustrator and author Dom&Ink talk about their work, from illustrating RuPaul's Drag Race for the BBC to writing their new graphic novel.

Dom will be interviewed by Lali from York's own The Portal Bookshop, and the event will be followed by a book signing and drinks reception. Please do come along and support what is sure to be an entertaining and exciting conversation.

Dom&Ink (they/them) is an illustrator and author. As an illustrator, they have created art for Little Mix, Cheryl Cole, Jameela Jamil's I Weigh, Channel 4, The X-Factor, Selfridges, Skinny Dip, Emma Watson’s Our Shared Shelf, and have had their work featured in Cosmopolitan, Gay Times, Glamour, Buzzfeed and Time Out. Dom is the official illustrator RuPaul’s Drag Race UK for the BBC, and for Little Mix : The Search on ITV. Their most recent books are Free To Be Me : An LGBTQIA+ interactive journal for ages 12+ (Penguin Books, 2019), and Queer Power! (Harper Collins 2021). They are currently working on their debut horror graphic novel, Queens of the Crypt, for Penguin America.

Lali is the manager for The Portal Bookshop in York, which specialises in Science Fiction, Fantasy, and LGBTQIA books.
