Dr Chris Greenough, 'Can you Adam and Eve it? Queering Heterosexuality in the Genesis Narrative', marking LGBTQ+HM at York St John University.

Join us at York St John University for this hybrid event to mark LGBT History Month 2024. Hosted by the Centre for Religion in Society, hear Dr Chris Greenough's talk, 'Can you Adam and Eve it? Queering Heterosexuality in the Genesis Narrative', followed by Q+A and a drinks reception.

Dr Greenough researches in the areas of queer theologies/queer biblical studies, sociology of religion, religious identities, sexualities, sexual violence, feminist, gender and queer theories and ethics.

Dr Chris Greenough is Reader in Social Sciences at Edge Hill University and Co-Director of the Shiloh Project. Chaired by Professor Esther McIntosh, Professor of Feminist Theology and Ethics, Director of the Centre for Religion in Society at York St John University.
