Archives at Dusk

The History Girls have been invited to participate in this years Archives at Dusk – part of the national Museums at Night event. This year North Yorkshire County Records Office have chosen the theme of food for their annual open evening and we will be assisting in the display of their collection of manuscript recipes. There will even be some tasty samples to taste as well. Drop by for a fascinating insight into the work of the office and a glimpse behind the scenes.

1. Brighouse 1940’s Festival

Love Bread Community Bakery Workshop
Once again The History Girls will collaborate in delivering a workshop at this fantastic bakery – this time as part of the Brighouse 1940’s Festival. The session will focus on food during wartime and rationing. Details still to be confirmed.

Anglo – Saxon Beer and Bread

Claire will be joining Di Hammill at her unique weekend of rural crafts, self sufficiency and yoga weekend.
