Our postgraduate events are your chance to find out more about life as a postgraduate student.

We run different events throughout the year, including Open Evenings and Open Days.

At these events you can explore our courses and tour our campus. Speak to staff and students, learn about funding options and get advice on how to apply.

Prepping for Postgrad

Wednesday 7 February 2024, 2.00pm to 4.30pm

Open to current York St John University students only

This event is your opportunity to discover more about postgraduate study. You will be able to chat to current postgraduate students and find out more about balancing work, life and studies. Speak to members of our support teams about the next step in your learning journey. These include our Admissions, Careers and Student Finance teams.

This event is focused on the practical side of applying for your postgraduate study. It is open to current York St John University students only. Refreshments will be provided.

Postgraduate Open Day

Saturday 16 March 2024, 11.00am to 2.00pm
On campus

A Postgraduate Open Day is your chance to find out everything you need to know about following your passion and continuing your studies. Speak to academic staff from our courses, including PGCE, taught degrees and research masters. Hear from current postgraduate students, and find out more about life after your undergraduate degree.

You can also hear from specialist support teams such as:

• Student Funding, so you can find out about the various scholarships, discounts and funding options available for postgraduate study.
• Admissions, who can talk you through the different application processes for the various degrees we offer.
• Student Support. You will be supported throughout the whole of your learning journey with us.
• Research Office. We have a community of diverse and forward-thinking researchers whose work makes a positive impact in society.

This event is for everybody. Whether you are a current York St John University student, alumni or somebody who has studied outside of the University, you are welcome to join.
